Building and managing customer relationships is essential for generating new leads and conversions for your business, and email marketing is one of the best ways to achieve this. By sending emails to your existing customers and prospects regularly, you’re building trust and reminding them of your presence, thus warming them up to take the next action, e.g. make a purchase or recommend your products to their family and friends.

Rework old copy and make it new. You may have a great post that you wish you could use, but the content is outdated and in much need of repair. There are several blog posts I’ve written that I’ve reworked and slapped a new headline on. The foundation and frame was good; they just needed a bit of remodeling. It is not unusual for us to use a looming new email autoresponder course as the impetus to get us to write several new blog posts for our blog. The topic or idea might be relevant, but the available blog posts at our disposal need rework.

High-traffic posts: High-traffic posts are the posts that people are reading, and indicate a topic they are interested in. You could create an email autoresponder out of these specific posts, or use them as a guide on what people want to read about. An added bonus, once you know which posts get the traffic, is that you can promote your email autoresponder in those actual blog posts and target a specific audience.
When I'm not designing websites, doing this online marketing stuff or writing. I love nothing more than getting out on a weekend and scuba diving. I'm a qualified rescue diver and love getting wet in the waters around Perth and Rottenest Island. I also cycle, which must be a sight as I'm not the thinnest of people (lol)... and a paddle on a kayak or a swim helps makes most weeks, perfect. At home I have a marine reef tank, which I just love and on top of that I've an awesome dog, called Ziggy.
That said, building a list from scratch can seem a little overwhelming at first. After all, newbies are in a bit of a catch-22 situation: They can’t start a campaign without addresses, but they’re often so dependent on email that they don’t know how to ask customers to opt in without emailing them. So how do you build an email list without email addresses? Once you have addresses, what do you do with them? How often should your send emails? What can you do to ensure your emails are delivered and not lost in spam or junk filters?

Knowing all this, what it is we can do to build our email list and improve customer engagement? In this article, we’ll talk about several ideas to consider when starting to create an email list. Also, we’ll recommend some specific email list building tools that can help you with it. Try them out and combine with the tips from the MailChimp for WordPress article and start creating great email marketing campaigns.
The first step in creating compelling content is having a clear picture of who you’re writing for. For example, if your business revolves around selling digital design solutions, you have to know what sort of people want design solutions, are they college students or small businesses? Do they want a quick fix or are they looking for permanent solutions? Where do they live? What sort of income do they have?
Contests and freebies are great tools to gather emails from your audience. Who doesn’t like something for free, right? Think of giveaways, sweepstakes, anything you can give to your audience in exchange for their email address. Just like in a landing page example below, it can be anything from ebooks, whitepapers, to actual products or services you can give for free. Combined with Social Media, it’s one of the fastest and easiest ways to grow your email list.
Basically, it’s a single page site where you share valuable, relevant, and meaningful information in exchange for an email address. It could be anything from landscape photography tips and tricks, low-budget travel tips, monthly entertainment newsletter, free ebook, whitepaper, blogger list… whatever it is your target audience wants and needs in exchange for their email.
For example, we found a few obscenely high-traffic posts on the Todaymade blog, and created a pop-up that encouraged people to sign up for an ebook that was related to the topic of the post. These were posts that had high bounce rates, meaning people came in, read what they wanted, and left. We figured we might as well offer them related content, since they were going to leave anyway. (Click here to see what I mean.) Imagine if you did that for your email autoresponder course? If you know people are going to those posts, why not offer them useful related content? They’re already primed for the topic. Nuthin’ to lose.
When you write a blog post, whether it’s a guest post or on your own website, use the opportunity to offer downloads for more information about topics within the content. For example, if you’re writing a blog post about the Keto Diet, you can offer a link to a free 7-day menu plan within the content they’re currently reading to move them to your email list, or tag them as someone who likes meal plans.

Brian , your every post is like a book, I always read your post and try to find a few questions to ask .. but to be honest your posts are that comprehensive that, I don’t find a question to ask because you left nothing unexplained !
